What is F.A.S.T. conditioning?

F.A.S.T. conditioning is an initial 12 week program that has the individual training in 3 specific and personalized heart rate zones, the purpose of which is to improve athletic performance.

Is Conor McGregor’s F.A.S.T conditioning program suitable for women?

Yes! Women can perform the exercises as well.

Will the F.A.S.T. conditioning program help me lose weight?

The F.A.S.T. conditioning program has not been designed to specifically help you lose weight. However, we have included some meal suggestions on the site, and some general advice on what to eat and when.

Can I incorporate this program in with my MMA training?

Yes. The F.A.S.T. conditioning program has been designed to complement your skilled based training program

Will the program help me gain muscle mass?

No. The training program is purely designed to improve your cardiovascular performance.

I’ve never done any sport or activity before. Can I still do the F.A.S.T. program?

Yes. Provided you have clearance from your physician to participate in this form of physical activity.

I have no martial arts background. Can I still do the F.A.S.T. program?

Yes. You can do the F.A.S.T. program as a stand alone, or as a conditioning component to your fight training.

Are there any age restrictions for taking part in the F.A.S.T. program?

Yes. Participants have to be 18 years or over.

I have been ill. Should I continue to train?

No. Training while you are ill is never a good idea. Wait until you have a full clean bill of health, then continue on with the program.

I have missed a week. What should I do?

Complete the missed workout/s, then continue on with the program as scheduled.

I don’t have access to all the training equipment. What should I do?

Substitution of one piece of equipment for another is possible, however, please be aware that for optimal workout results, it is advised to use the specified equipment. Please email us for a more personalised answer to this.

I have completed the 12 week F.A.S.T. conditioning program. What should I do now?

You will have the option to renew your subscription on a monthly basis. A reminder email will be sent to you just before your program expires to notify you of this. You can then repeat the F.A.S.T. treadmill ramp test, and move up a level in the training program, or repeat your existing program with results from your new heart rate zone readings.
